Welcome to the Third 2012 IEEE International Conference on Multimedia Technology! The 2012 International Conference on Multimedia Technology（ICMT2012）will be held Tuesday through Thursday, November 06-08 in Beijing, China. The Conference offers a unique opportunity to network with leading experts in the field. A diverse set of exciting Oral and poster presentations is being planned to cover this theme and other important trends.

ICMT aims to provide a high-level international forum for researchers and engineers to present and discuss recent advances, new techniques and applications in the field of Multimedia Tools and Systems, Image Processing Technology, Network Applications, Multimedia Entertainment Service and Signal Processing.

ICMT2012 is sponsored by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), co-sponsored by Communication University of China.

The conference proceedings will be published by CPS, which will be included in IEEE digital library and then can be indexed by EI Compendex. Some excellent papers will be recommended to The Computer Journal (SCI) and Journal of Communications(EI). At the same time, some student papers (20-30) will be awarded as outstanding papers with certification and money award.

★All accepted papers on The 1st International Conference on Multimedia Technology (ICMT2010) and The 2nd International Conference on Multimedia Technology (ICMT2011) have been indexed by EI Compendex about three month after the conference.
